Reuters reports that Dixons said on Thursday it would like to sell its loss-making Pixmania online business and if that proved to be not possible closure of the operation was to be considered.

Indesit Plans Small Appliances

Indesit have issued a recall on some of its Indesit and Hotpoint washing machine models that were featured on last week's BBC Watchdog program for the risk of "exploding".

Oreck Files For Bankruptcy

US based vacuum cleaner manufacturer Oreck has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection this week leaving the future of the long standing cleaner maker in doubt as the original family owners attempt to buy back the business.
