Samsung’s been busy trying to innovate in the fridge freezer sector again with a couple of new lines that they have unveiled at CES in Las Vegas this week in what they call their Chef Collection.

We’ve seen it all before, in fact only last week LG announced its plans to control multiple devices through smartphones etc and hot on the heels of this comes Samsung’s Smart Home.

LG Electronics said its latest crop of American style fridge freezers will all have its trademarked door-in-door feature.

LG apparently wants us to have a good chat with the washing machine, tumble dryer and robotic vacuum cleaner.

In a press release it is claimed that Haier is now the world number one brand by volume in major domestic appliances, the full release is as follows.

Whirlpool is moving production of its commercial front-loading washing machines from Mexico to the company’s Clyde plant in Ohio.

Whirlpool has announced a number of changes within the organisation that will affect the brand in the UK.

By now most of us have heard of the 3D printing revolution and probably about the possibility of printing your food after Nasa announced that they were exploring the technology, but now a Spanish start-up is looking to bring that possibility to your kitchen in 2014.
