Whitegoods Trade Association Logo And Meeting
The Whitegoods Trade Association has updated its logo to a more modern stance ahead of the whitegoods Conference set to take place later this month in Coventry.
The new logo was designed in-house and if you ask us, it looks pretty cool and much more modern and cleaner looking than the old one. The full new logo looks like this:

Lawrence Carey, the current chair of the association said; "As a forward looking and modern trade association working to represent its members in the best ways possible we thought it prudent to give our association a more modern feel through our logo to match our outlook on the industry as a whole. Not to be afraid of the future but to look toward it and embrace where the industry might go."
"Of course logos are largely a matter of taste but we felt that more clean and modern lines would make our members stand out more to consumers and present a more professional and modern image."
The association has stated that the new logo is available to all members on request in various formats for online promotion and sign writing purposes to communicate that they are members.
Also the upcoming meeting is starting to look as if it will quite probably be the largest whitegoods Conference ever. In fact, when digging into the numbers this may well be the largest meeting concerning purely the appliance industry since the AMDEA show in 2005 with well in excess of one hundred people already confirmed and the expected attendance is said to be in the region of two hundred people.
With what we have heard, it is a meeting that you cannot afford to miss!
In attendance, apart from a good many WTA members and forum members from this site are national work providers, spares suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and much, much more. Most every walk of the industry is represented in some form, quite an astounding response and an amazing guest list.
The current list of exhibitors is available on the WTA website here but we are told that there may be a late addition or two that has to be confirmed that may well be of interest to many.
Tickets will start to be issued in the coming week for the event so if you want to be guaranteed entrance please register your intention to attend the event using this simple form. It takes two minutes to register and the day is always very, very worthwhile.
