Bertazzoni Wins Design Journal Award

Bertazzoni appears to be gaining momentum in the U.S. market with the announcement of several industry awards this year or at least, it is trying to get penetration to the USA.

In a press release, the main body of which follows, Bertazzoni details the awards that it has one Stateside.

Most recently, the Design Journal's annual Awards for Design Excellence (ADEX) honored seven different Bertazzoni Built-In Line products with platinum, gold and silver awards.

Design Industry Recognition

Attracting a record 2,814 product entries from over 500 different companies in 2012, ADEX is the largest and most prestigious awards competition for product design of furnishings marketed to the design trade. Technology Industry Recognition

The Bertazzoni Design Series 30 inch Double Oven was named an International CES Innovations 2012 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 32 product categories.

At the 2012 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), the industry's top kitchen and bath show with more than 550 exhibitors, the Bertazzoni Segmented Cooktop was recognized with the prestigious KBIS "Best of Show Award." The award is given to the product that exhibits the best in functionality, quality/durability, flexibility, aesthetics/style, and innovation.

The segmented cooktop combines the power of gas, electric griddle, and induction cooking in one product platform to transform surface cooking for good. The low profile design fits the standard cut-out for a 36" cooktop and each cooking surface is designed with three 12" segments per fuel type.
