The search is used by members of the public to find a local repair company but it is also used by manufacturers, insurers, letting agents and almost anyone looking for repairers. 

With over 2000 companies listed it is most probably the most expansive and comprehensive directory of UK repair companies every built.

The engineer search gets thousands of hits per month.

GoLocal Reactive & Comet Service Work 

GoLocal gets pulled up in the forum on the Comet work thread after claiming that they are getting work from Comet. Turns out that they aren't and that they also aren't paying agents, allegedly of course.

If they call you then you'd better read this post and the next couple of pages before you agree to do any work on their behalf so you can make an informed decision.
