Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by Poudani » Fri Jul 20, 2012 7:42 pm
Hi
I have a Samsung RS21 DCNS
From plugging in it will go through the start up sequence, when it displays the temp settings after approx 30seconds, the child lock will be displayed.
The display will then alternate between the normal display and the child lock display by its self. None of the buttons on the front panel work, when displaying temperatures.
When this fault first developed, we could change the settings when the temperature was displayed, however this is now not possible.
The fridge has been left unplugged for a couple of hours to attempt a reset.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sometimes the wiring connector to the display PCB can corode but you will have to dismantle the display to check this.

Hi bob
Thanks for your reply.
I have checked the display board, plug and connector and the are all clean. Have also now checked the plug and connector at the top of the door and checked for continuity of the loom that goes down to the display board, again all ok.
