what seems to be happening is when you select hot temp the water is only warm which tells me that the hot & cold valves are mixing...have you tried turning off the cold tap..if the machine faults then W/M is calling for the cold valve to initiate which should not happen in hot temp mode.. (only in 'warm' selection)therefore either faulty 12v digital inlet /proportional valves or motor controller.

Thanks Jellicoe,

just to clarify, if I select hot or warm-hot there is an empty "umph" sound from the hot water hose and then nothing happens. The machine then displays an error code. When warm is selected the machine works, and warm water flows. The valves are mixing then.

Tom,
thanks for your offer, I will call you. I am in Sydney as well.

Cheers,
Eva
