Fisher & Paykel 703 won,t START help

Postby renocasino » Sun Apr 17, 2005 12:09 am

HI Everyone just new to this forum ,I wonder if someone could help me
before i use up all my life savings, to fix up my fisher & paykel 703 .
iam not a tech person but i know a little bit. Iam a FITTER & TURNER by trade ,not working at the moment due to a, Tripple Heart Bypass ,,So
things are a bit tough.. at the moment,,,ANYWAY the problem is when the power button is pushed everything lights up normal all lights are on ,Then when the START button is pushed with everything set to regular wash or any other wash or with cold only or hot only . NOTHING HAPPNES ,,I have changed
2 cold water solanoids in the past that have worked well ,,I changed them again thinking it could be linked with them I have turned the power ON and OFF for 30 min thinking it might reset set the machine .BUT it still don,t GO
So before i get my self in deep s**t MAYBE someone could advise me
on some things i can do ,,,,
I ALSO must add that i have a spair board that i picked up at the tip one day don,t know if its ok ,,but the solanoids have been working OK from it ,,,
it looks the same as mine ONLY its blue 230v 131094040506
mine is green,,, 230v3 425895164291 ,,,I was thinking of putting it in But I think i better wait to hear from you guys ,,,THANKS FOR READING MY POST hope you can help
