Fisher Paykel wont spin

Postby arp91 » Mon Sep 05, 2005 2:10 am

I have a fisher Paykel smartdrive washer that gets to the spin cycle, makes a few noises and then beeps and doesnt spin. Is there a diagnostic test I can do to determine the problem, and if so, how? Thanks.

With the machine off, hold down "Temperature Down" and hit "Power". Use the "Spin Up" button until the "Hold" and "Slow" lights are lit. Read off the lights across wash progress display and post them up, this will form a binary code which will offer some guidance as to what is wrong.

We need the model number as well please.

Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?

It's a set up error - have you had any work done on the machine?
