DON'T touch the samsung range.
Whirlpool,Maytag,Amana,Admiral now come from the same factories.
It comes down to HOW much you want to spend.
GE are good

What's wrong with Samsung?
Seriously, I am moving home next week and was thinking of getting one. We have one in the office at work and it seems OK. Also Samsung get great reviews for their TVs and other electronics, are their fridges not up to the same standards?

What's wrong with Samsung?
Have you done a search for the samsung range of american fridge freezers ?
There is so many inherent defects within the whole range. some they cannot repair as they don't know how to. and it's not the engineers that cant repair its samsung themselves who don't know what to do to fix them.

Thanks for that, you may have saved me a lot of money and hassle.
Are LG any good? If not then maybe I'll be better off sticking with boring separate British-style fridge and freezer (don't have the budget to spend £2000 or whatever on this...)
