Hello people,

I went to my local appliance shop for advice and deal (rather then go to comet and talk to a 18yr old who dnt know anything about dishwashers) he had new machines some which are now discontinued (i think as i tried googling but not in stock)

i took these model numbers down what do you think of these?
i want to spend £200-300 obviously reliability and VERY GOOD cleaning is the main requirement as i love my currys :D

Bosch SGS57A02GB
Bosch SMS63E12GB
Bosch SGS45A02GB
Bosch SGS45C12GB
BOSCH SMS50E02GB

or a SMEG DFD6121W

For that sort of money I'd go with a Zanussi TBH. Just do be aware that you can't expect a Rolls Royce for that sort of cash, good dishwashers start at about £5-600, double what you have as a budget. You're basically buying at the budget end of the scale, any lower and all you'd get is a rubbish Chinese thing.

Bosch dishwashers are now programmed modules that cannot be serviced by anyone but Bosch so, if it breaks, you've no choice but to pay up whatever ransom is demanded or, buy another.

Smeg is over-priced IMO for what it is. Okay machines, can't fault the performance on those I've used but a lot of money for what they are as they're not that much better than the rest of the mid-market pack, if any better.

Don's your man for opinion on the Bosch ones, I don't know them at all.

At the price level, most of the Zanussi models will be much of a muchness with little to choose between them. They'll all be using the same platform and much of the same components.
