Tumble Dryer advice needed - reduced depth?

Postby stanherbert » Tue Sep 21, 2010 5:49 pm

Hi,

I'm looking for a vented tumble dryer which isn't as deep as the usual 'full size' machines but still has a reasonable payload (ie: 5 or 6 kg).

We have a cupboard which would be ideal to house a tumble dryer as it has power and a handy 4" hole to the outside following the removal of a boiler. However, ideally the tumble dryer would only be around 45cm deep to fit.

It can be full height and full width (ie: 60 cm).

I notice candy make a full load, shallow depth washing machine at 40cm but don't seem to make a matching tumble dryer.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks,
StanHerbert.

Hi SH

There is this Zanussi 5.4 kg condenser dryer, which is the only slim depth I know of. Otherwise you are looking at one of the compact 3kg vented ones like the White Knight 38AW vented dryer.

HTH :)

Thanks for the info guys. I think I'll have to go for a full size condenser dryer in a different cupboard.

Thanks again. Stan.
