homark electron series cooker help

Postby faybe » Sun Mar 19, 2006 4:50 pm

Hello,

My cooker grill has recently stopped working but I am unsure why. The oven itself is gas but the internal grill is electric. Its the built in kind with a seperate gas hob.

Whilst trying to grill something the electric tripped, this has been reset and although the light comes on the show that the grill is working, it does not get hot. I have changed the fuse (its a landlord installed cooker and the electric grill/ignition are just plugged into an extension cable) but this has made no difference, but seeing as it still lights up i guessed that wasn't the problem.

This is the only info I have about the cooker, no manual or serial numbers. (the hob part does say viceroy on it though) The landlord will come out to mend it but he is very slow and if its just something simple I would rather just sought it out.

thanks in advance :)

The grill element has failed almost certainly by the sound of it.

As this is a duel fuel appliance your landlord will not be legally able to repair it himself, he must ask a Corgi registered engineer to attend.

You could check the repairs@ link below for one on his behalf to speed things along a little ;)

Hi Faybe

The homark electron range of appliance were sold by . (if you remember them) about 11 years ago. The appliance was made by Elba DiLonghi so i very much doubt spares are still available.

The model number is 01/02 -300117 it is a seperate built under gas oven with an electric grill.

Part number for the grill is 062053004

Hope this helps Dave Conway may be able to get the element.

The grill element is still available :D

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if the engineer gets stuck for the part.
