Smeg Oven Model: SUK90MFX

Postby Dowpete » Wed Oct 18, 2006 10:51 pm

Smeg - Range - Electric Oven.
Model: SUK90MFX
Type: C9N0xx
CE 51AU1686

Hi there, my oven above has stopped working when I put it on fan assisted mode (i.e.: top and bottom element do not heat). It does seem to work when just on non-fan mode, but doesn't quite get up to set temperature.

On reading various other people's problems it seems that it may be wise to get a pair of new fan elements. But my worry is that even when it's not fan assisted mode it isn't reaching the set temperature. Should I replace top and bottom element too?

If you have any advise or help, I would be most grateful.

Find an cooker engineer for repair your range cooker, oven or cooker

Na, it'll just be the fan element. In fan oven mode only the fan element/s are energised.

An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you prices etc.

Hi
Is the oven door sealing tightly I wonder? It should close with a THUD and have no "play once closed.

Hi Greg,

The oven door is sealing tightly, it does close with a THUD and there is no play in the door.

Thanks,
