Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by bscorer » Fri May 12, 2006 4:53 pm
My oven tripped the fuse box a few days ago. When i switched the fuse switch back on the ovens main element (the one behind a cover with a fan in the middle) does not heat up any more. The top element and bottom element work along with the fan. I am hoping that the elment just needs replacing. Do you sell this and how much does it cost? I take it i just disconnect the exisiting wires and connect them to the new part - electricity off of course.
Many thanks
Ben

Certainly the fan oven element will have failed, and you will be able to source it through
spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk .
However - there are 26 different models in the ZBS range, so will you please find the rest of the model number and preferably the pNc number as well. There is usually a rating label around the door.
Regards,
Penguin45.
Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?

Thanks for the quick reply. The numbers on the label are:
Mod: ZBS 773 X
Type: A9621
Prod No: 949710843
Ser No: 03722168
Is this enough information to identify the correct element?
Thanks again,
Ben

The email i have just sent to
spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk has been returned as undeliverable. Is the email address correct? I did not get an undeliverable on the last one i sent.
Basically want to know how much the part (358190736/1) is and how long it will take to deliver.
Thanks,
Ben

£33.36 inc VAT and carriage, 3-4 days.
Can you forward the bounced email to
dconway@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please (it is correct) and I will investigate. Very odd as I've been recieving mail on the spares@ address with no problems that I am aware of.
I can sort payment via Paypal if you prefer also
Dave.
