This is a Whirlpool made appliance and F1 on these indicates an error in the water temperature sensing circuit. Very probably the sensor itself or NTC device as it's known.
Not a DIY job to be honest also not a costly job to replace.
If you pop your postcode up or have a look in the directories there should be an engineer who can help with a service visit.
