Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods

Hi
we have a 7 year old Bosch Classixx dishwasher model SGS55C02GB FD8506. It has an intermittent fault to earth which causes the main ELCB to trip. We have stopped using the machine. Is it possible to locate this type of fault and replace the faulty component or is it a case of replacing the machine?

Yes, the two main suspects are (in order) :
1) The mains filter
2) The heater
