Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by Roaster323 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 3:52 pm
Hi
Had this excellent dishwasher for about 18 months now.
Usually run it on the low heat / short time setting. When I start it, the soap block (finish) drops into the bottom of the machine quite soon after the cycle starts (minute or two) and can sometimes be seen part dissolved in the bottom of the machine at the end of the cycle.
Is this normal?
The machine is still under Neff extended warrantly
Many thanks
Keith

How much water is there is the bottom of the appliance once it starts washing ? It should almost cover the base and should reach the bottom of the salt pot lid.
Does it make any funny 'donking' noises when filling ?
Check your spray arms are clear too.
Finally.....don't use the quick wash so often. It can lead to a blockage in the pipe that leads into the tub and can cause low water levels.
Take only memories...leave only footprints

Don't use quickwash and tablets together, there is neither enough temperature or time to disolve the tablet properly.
On a quickwash prog the dispenser will actuate a couple of minutes after the m/c has stopped filling.
If you want my advice, I would suggest using seperate detergent, rinse aid and salt, also use a higher temperature wash.
I wanna be sedated
