Setting Water Level for Diplomat Washer?

Postby ajwposh » Thu Jun 14, 2007 2:34 pm

I have just got a new kitchen and it has an integrated Dishwasher, Diplomat ADP8322. Anyway, I cannot set the water hardness level, when I hold the start button for 5 seconds after following the instructions, it says the light should flash in correspondance to the set level, but the light comes on and doesnt flash at all.

I cant use this yet, please help!

Hi AJ,

That's the Whirlpool one which a lot of us don't see that often but the Whirlpool guys do. Johnmac11 or DentedPorche will be the best ones to answer this when they get to it.

Fairly often but it is rare for us to be messing with the salt settings. ;)

Hiya,
Sorry, missed this one.
Switch the dishwasher on and ensure the start light is out.
Set to the second program (40 degree on mine).
Now press and hold the start button until it starts flashing. Release the start button and count the flashes to find out the current setting.
Press the start button to change the setting. Once you've got the setting you want, switch off with the power button.
That's it done.

Did you set it to program 2? If not then what you describe would happen.
If you did then a call to Whirlpool will confirm whether there's been an update to the software removing or changing this facility.
