Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by Stewart52 » Wed Apr 16, 2008 6:52 am
This machine is approx 7 years old and has been no trouble whatsoever...until now. It sticks at a particular point on its wash cycle. When using (say) programme No. 3, the programme selector knob sticks at a point where it has moved only about half an inch. When taken through the cycle manually (by turning the knob a small amount at a time) everything seems to be working. All advice welcome.

Further to your reply to my original post earlier this week, I have been able to test the dishwasher a little more fully and have realised that the heater is, in fact, not working. (I'm sure it was working a few days ago...)
If it's any use to you, I have discovered that irresepective of programme chosen, (2, 3 or 4) the wash cycle sticks in the same part of the main wash programme, presumably at the point that the heater is supposed to come in?
Thanks for your help.
Please keep it all together, cheers
Greg
