Smeg DWF1.1 Soap Dispenser

Postby rawhead » Thu Oct 18, 2007 5:38 pm

I have read several threads here about a problem I have concerning a dodgy soap dispenser. I have found the bit I need to order, but don’t know how to replace it. Can anyone point me to some instructions? Which screws to remove etc.

My local guy can’t find the problem and has told my the machine has had it. 8O But I want to try the dispenser trick (£35 if it doesn’t work is a bit of a risk though…)

I emailed for one of the repair guys on this site but got no reply (I’m in North Norfolk) :(

Cheers :)

We are unable to give complete instructions in case you or anyone else reading this post injures themselves...suffice to say that this repair isn't rocket science, the dispenser is in the door so that's the bit you need to open up. The dispenser fixings will then be obvious

Don't forget to unplug before doing anything :zap: and watch out for razor sharp door edges
