Indesit W143 problem?

My washing machine has been playing up for weeks now; sometimes it works with a cold wash, but never with a hot one. With the dial clicking round indicating a problem, the LED flash count is 7. Any ideas as to what type of fault this is? I can't find any other posts regarding this code.

It's a heater relay problem, that means the main board is at fault (as the relay is on the main board). Ultimately it will need a new module board, the heater checking (insulation breakdown etc) and possibly the Pressure switch for good measure?

Judging from other posts, the solution described by Martin seems to address fault code 8 -Is this the same as fault code 7?
If so, could I buy a new relay instead of a whole board?

Fault code 7 is an open circuit heater - check with meter - plug out first
