Teka Dishwasher DW6 55 F1

Postby milliecortsty » Wed Apr 25, 2007 4:10 pm

We have a Teka DW6 55 F1 dishwasher, which has been working perfectly well. Today, when I switch it on the power light comes on but the programmes don't light up. If I press the programme button three times (which is the usual programme I use) and assume the light just isn't working when I close the door the dishwasher just beeps continuously.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Door latch may still be in closed position? That would stop it programming.

Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?

When I have taken a closer look, there appears to be water in the bottom (when I remove the filter inside the dishwasher). How would I unblock it if it is integrated? I can't use HG because the programmes won't come on.

Dishwasher will never be empty - there is always some water left in the bottom of the sump moulding after a programme.
