Whirlpool DWF B10 stops mid cycle

Postby jimjury » Thu Oct 25, 2007 10:32 pm

Hi there,

I've got a whirlpool dwf b10 dishwasher which stops after 2 minutes of the cycle. The light flashes 11 times then pauses then 11 times again etc. I can't find what this error code means. Can you let me know please?

Many thanks

Fault with the optical water indicator. Which is rather unfortunate really, as your machine doesn't have this component fitted.

Computer problem most likely.

Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?

Thanks for your help.

What would you suggest to remedy this problem.

i.e. Which part needs changing?

Many thanks (again)

The control board in the facia panel is the likely culprit. There are two versions of the machine, so the 12nc code will be needed for correct identification.

However, consider.......
I cannot guarantee the diagnosis.
The part is likely to be expensive.
There is absolutely no guarantee given on electronics to members of the public.

You may like to consider professional help - use the link below for a UKW engineer in your area.

Power off if you do choose to investigate further.
