Tecnik DW2677/1 now 6 lights flashing

Postby seanb » Sat Oct 28, 2006 12:20 pm

My DW 2677/1 was stopping part way through a cycle, i've cleaned out what filters i can find including the one with the microswitch underneath, however it is now only filling and then stopping with 6 flashing lights on the start button.
The number of the side of the door is 8545 677 15710
Any advice would be good

Cheers

This is a Whirlpool, 6 flashes or F6 is an engineer job to be honest as it could be one of several problems related to a no fill problem.

Check the repairs@ link below :)

Hi there,
I am having a similar problem with my Teknic DW2677. Only difference is I get 4 flashes. I too have cleaned everywhere I can and put finish dishwasher cleaner through on a number of occasions but nothing seems to work.

Please help.

Drain not detected in time allowed. If water is left in the machine, you have some sort of blockage. If no water is left in machine, it may well be that the water level switch is choked with fat. This is the black grid in the bottom of the sump on the right.

You can try cleaning it with very hot water and a toothbrush, failing that it will have to be removed. It's a twist fit from underneath.

Power off and beware of sharp edges.

Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?
