HELP!!! Green Lights on Indesit DI 67

Postby orangekazzie » Sun Dec 09, 2007 7:20 pm

I've recently had a new circuit board installed on my dishwasher. After the repairman left the machine discharged all of the water onto the floor. He came back and said it was a problem with the pump. He fixed the problem and once again left with the machine running on the longest programme. At the end it pumped out the water and continued pumping and didn't stop until I turned it off manually.

I once again called the engineers back and guess what, damn machine worked perfectly. So they went away thinking I was a neurotic woman.

I used it for the first time today and it washes, pumps out and then I get two light flashing (the first two on the panel) and there it remains, doesn't move on from that.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the first suggestion would be to throw this piece of Italian junk on the nearest tip.

However, lights 1+2 suggest a drain time out error, you may have a pump or outlet hose blockage. The pumps are prone to blockage but usually easily cleared.

It may be nothing to do with the previous repair, the smallest thing will jam the pump, glass, bone, sweetcorn, etc, etc.

Was your previous repair done by Indesit or a local independent?

Either way I would call them back but expect to be charged as this could be due to something entirely unconnected with the original fault.
