4+6.Heating circuit-heater,connections,module,relay
It needs checking out with a multimeter or meggar. The heater & the control PCB are both common causes of this fault on these Indesit machines.
Mains plug out if you intend to investigate yourself.

Au contraire, both the heater and PCB are not over expensive, A local independent would be able to do this repair for less than Hotpoints labour charge without a doubt.
What is that about £15.90 a month from Hotpoint. Thats over £190.00 per year. To quote some tennis player ( can't remember his name

£159 for the year payable over 10 months. I was thinking, that possibly this could keep happening, so would be cheaper in the long run...maybe I need to rethink lol

I wouldn't give anybody £159.00 to keep one of these things working. I would put it towards the cost of something decent the next time it broke down.
I would still recommend a local indie for this job.
