Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by qualos0 » Fri May 09, 2008 1:58 pm
Hi, I'm new to this forum and have read somewhere in amongst the many reported defects that the F&P fault codes stay in the memory for 8 wash cycles.
How can the fault codes be cleared without waiting for the 8 wash cycles?
Thanks

Dont know what you read but SHOULD BE
If washer APPEARS TO HAVE A FAULT .The fault would have occured WITHIN the last 8 wash cycles
If you have a problem with washer run the diagnostics thru the sticky above

Thanks for the information. I had fault code 50 (hot water valve) which I fixed, however the fault code is still showing when I run the diagnostics.
I'm assuming the fault code will clear itself in 8 wash cycles, however I was hoping there was a procedure to clear fault code in the memory without waiting for the 8 wash cycles.
Thanks
