Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by Huw » Wed Dec 22, 2004 7:32 pm
I'm looking for a pair of fridge hinges for a fitted Hotpoint 6960 with the hinges fitted to the right hand side of the door.
Have a happy Chrismas and New Year everyone

Huw,
The Door Hinge Kit is part no :
2502931 but at around £35 is more than ten times the value of the appliance.
If the door is falling off, time for a new fridge mate

That's £35 *each*?
Even so, new fitted fridges I have seen cost upwards of £250. Perhaps you would be as kind as to recommend something sensible that won't make me choke on my turkey?

Huw,
Have a look if Shop@ -> Refrigeration - some of these fitted hinges are "universal".
Regards,
Penguin45.
Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?

Thank you both for your help.
It appears that neither hinge available at Shop@ is suitable AFAICS. That being the case, how and where can I get a pair of 2502931 before the door breaks the remaining hinge and the whole thing crashes to the floor?

Dave Conway will be able to sort it for you. It is a kit with both hinges in it BTW. No chance before Christmas I'm afraid.

Drop me an email to
spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and I can order and send them to you Huw.
What with the time of year you probably won't recieve them until the late part of next week now though.
Dave.
