Hi, we have been having problems with our top loader Bosch washing machine. All the lights flash and an error code of 07 comes up. Is this a fixable problem?

Error 07 normally means that the drum lid is open

Thanks. Would it still be the drum lid if the washing machine goes to start the program and then starts flashing? Does the drum lid have a sensor?

When you close the lid and select prog and then press start, is the lid locked or can you open it?
If you can open, then most culprit is the door interlock.
Available from
spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk , quoting p/no 263334
Power off if you are to attempt any work on the appliance

We have given it a good clean today and that has fixed the problem with the flashing lights. Once we have fixed it back up to the water, I'll let you know if we have managed to fix it (fingers crossed). Thanks for your help so far

Hi, we have connected it up to the water and are still getting the flashing and 07. The lid won't open once the error code is on. We turned the water on, then the power, set to Easy care wash at 60, all the correct lights on, then as soon as it goes to start the program straight to error. Is there anything else which could be causing this problem?

Hi, the spare parts arrived yesterday from Bosch and we finished fitting them today. We put a new hook and switch in and it still doesn't work. With the dial turned to pump nothing happens before the error code comes on and set to quick wash it gets as far as turning the drum round half a turn before the error code comes on. Is there anything we have missed which could be causing this problem.
Thanks in advance
