Hi,
I have a Siemens Fully Fitted Dishwasher E code SE60T390GB/03, Type SD11TT1S and FD 8602000047, the machine is a bit over 2 years old. I mainly use the Auto Wash program.
Recently the cold water inlet pipe has started to bang between 1 and 10 times during a cold fill. Previous experience with a different make cured this problem with a new internal Cold water inlet valve.
I had a look at the Seimens web site and found the correct diagrams, but could not find an internal cold water inlet valve. I had a chat with Siemens and they said that there is no internal cold water inlet valve, only the external one (Called an Aquastop) which I thought was a flood prevention device.
When I described the fault they suggested the Pressure chamber was dirty (item 410 on the manual on the site).
Is the aquastop used as an inlet valve and therefore could cause this fault. Is it possible to test it with a multimeter?
Is the inlet valve built into another part of the machine so it isn't known as the cold water inlet valve?
I am competent with electrical and electronic items and do not mind getting my hands dirty, with the power disconnected!
I found this on this site

but seem unable to get past the first page of any search.
Thanks for any help offered.
Fred
