bottom oven not working

Postby stigofthedump » Wed Nov 11, 2009 8:33 pm

We have a Leisure double oven model; EBV9MX

Top oven still working - bottom oven not !

Bottom oven stopped working after using timer to cook.

Someone had suggested that it could be the timer ?

Any suggestions ?

Have you set the timer back to manual?

Yes we followed the instruction manual to cancel programme and also to reset "key" although no key symbol was showing - we tried averything we could think of.

Is it a fan oven and if so is the fan running and the light working?

Neither the fan nor the lightare working, there seems to be no power to the bottom oven at all. The top oven does work and you can use the timer to time things. The clock shows the right time.

It is difficult without testing it, but a faulty timer would give you the symptoms you are describing.
