I defrosted it and left it for a couple of days when the problem first arose and it seemed to work ok when turned back on but this didn't last long and I now have the high temp light on constantly and the freezer is well above decent operating temperature.
I was going to buy a new freezer but if the low ambient temp is the cause of the problem, a new unit is going to suffer the same fate, is it not?
Where do i go from here??
mediteranean is not a bad bet
We don't normally have sustained cold spells like this, couple or three days you wouldn't notice.Seperate freezers or don't rely on it until temps rise to 8c or so.
