My Washing Machine was flashing F-01 this morning having run it through the night. Does anyone know what this error code means.-

Sadly yes, unlike your dishwasher which is Bosch based, this is nearly all Indesit. 
F01 is supposed to signify a motor triac failure.
It could be the motor, the main PCB or loose or broken wiring connections between the motor and the PCB.
