Advice needed on purchase of American Style Fridge Freezer

We are looking at upgrading the kitchen refrigiration appliances and like the look of the side by side American Style Fridge Freezers.
Having seen some dubious reviews on the highstreet Daiwa and Samsung models I was thinking it might be wiser to go for a more expensive make like Neff.
Can anyone offer advice on this please?

THESE are much better, superb quality. 8)

Or forget the 'style' and buy a proper American fridge/freezer.
That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.
