Bosch Dishwasher - fill never completes (Starts to drain)

Postby TomF » Tue Dec 20, 2011 10:51 pm

Diswasher Bosch Model 'Electronic Management' E-Nr SGS43T02GB/06
The outlet pumps intermittently when the machine is full (or nearly full) so the fill never completes.

I suspect there is a problem with a 'fill level' sensor, and the inlet valve is not being shut off, but not sure if I am right, or where to look.

Any help appreciated.

What QUICK FIX hasn't realised is that your machine doesn't have an Impellor Jug anyway. The problem could simply be the magnetic float sensor under the drain filter being gunged up?

Thanks Martin,
I emptied the water out of the machine last night, and filled it with warm water (poured directly into the drain filter well).
It completed an unloaded wash, then washed the original load of dishes twice, with no problem.

I just read your post, and looked at the magnetic float sensor.
It was a little gunged, but not bad. I probably washed it last night, when I poured warm water into that very area, with the filter out!
I have now cleaned it the float area, and another wash has started successfully.

My gut feeling is that your diagnostics was right, and, fingers crossed, the problem is cleared.
Thank you for taking the time. You too QUICK FIX
