Help!! Dishwasher dead

Postby angel50 » Thu May 03, 2012 10:48 pm

Redid our kitchen floor before dishwasher moved out was working fine moved it back- plugged it nothing! What have I done to it? No lights no sound nothing it isn't the fuse in the plug or the main fusebox. Anything simple it could be? Wierdly my iron did the same thing in a different room and different socket today. It worked again after unplugging it taking fuse out and putting same fuse back in?! :? Oh its a Bosch Excel

Check your wall socket has power.

Also, with regard to the iron.. close the holdings for the fuse slightly.. a loose fuse can cause surges and fires.

Yes a loose wire is the most proberble cause... and again, I would suggest getting it seen to as Loose Wires Cause Fires.

If you are going to attempt it yourself
:zap: TURN OFF AT THE CONSUMER UNIT FIRST :zap:

Thanks am not going to do this one myself as socket is not working and i can't be sure correct fuse in consumer unit is off (will get an electrician) Turns out this was an old socket and not the one it was plugged into before which is in unit next to it and involves tricky threading!!!

Not having any luck with just putting this stupid dishwasher back. as its now sprung a leak from where the inlet hose meets the appliance. Wet new floor!!! :( Grrrrr! I'm also worried it seems to be dripping underneath LHS as you face the unit and about 6 inches back from front - any ideas? Am really praying its still wet from inlet pipe puddle- but it does seem bit odd its just dripping there also is it normal for them to have virtually no floor clearance underneath?
