ISE in London N5

Postby fogweaver » Tue May 08, 2012 12:33 pm

I would like to buy a W288eco Washing Machine. I live in London N5. I can't find an independent on your site to supply, install and repair these machines. Are you able you recommend someone local to me or should I just order direct, please?

I don't know who covers N5 for sales but yes, it can be ordered online and delivered there no problem at all.

I know given all that I have read about these machines that they are unlikely to break down any time soon, but is there anyone local to me who is a recommended independent repairer for ISE?

There's a few that cover North London, I think both AND and Ken Bowman cover that postcode from memory.

I put through an order to UK Whitegoods, ref 143249, on Tuesday but have heard nothing since. I emailed requesting an update yesterday afternoon and have yet to receive a reply. Is anyone able to let me know what has happened to this order, please?

Now, that is a bit odd indeed I will admit.

What I can tell you on a Friday night just shy of midnight is that your order is processed and being dealt with.

What I'm surprised at is that you haven't had an update. Something I will investigate for you ASAP but I am unlikely to get much information now before Monday.

You will get updated though.

Delivery company contacted my partner today. Should we expect them to be able to make connections to the hot and cold pipes running behind where the machine is to be sited?

Yup, should be fine.

Sorry we checked earlier today and Sprint were trying to get you apparently. But I forgot to come back here, sorry.

Just to be clear, there are no connections at present, this will mean making new connections to the hot and cold pipes running behind where the washing machine is to be sited - should this be within their remit?

Hi Fogweaver

The delivery and installation would be to Existing water and waste connections which would mean that there would need to be isolation taps for the inlet hoses to e connected to already there and also a point for the waste pipe to be fitted into. The delivery companies would not fit the Plumbing or waste if you don't have any if you haven't had a washing machine in the position that you are now requiring it to be fitted.

Thanks Bryan - I'd better do something about that before they arrive, then.
