I found my original invoice from Comet. It cost £49 and I stupidly took out the extended warranty, which was another £35
The warranty did come in handy as the fan broke up and I used the Zanussi service to have it fixed. I think it was my fault. If I remember correctly, a pen went through the system.
I have decided to buy Miele products in future. The top of the range tumble dryer is £1300. The parts to repair the TD301 are £35. No contest.
Unfortunately, UK whitegoods don't have the parts. I am buying them from spares-and-repairs.co.uk
