Do you have the PNC number off the rating plate?

In short, it could be anything. :?

There's a bunch of boards, at least two thermostats and all sorts going on in that fridge freezer.

The bad news is that it was past produced in 1999 and there's slews of spare parts no longer available for it. So, my advice would be to start thinking about a new one in all honesty.

Sorry.

just update,

i bought a universal stat off ebay for £3,50 , the original danfoss was £83 , still available as its a current Hotpoint fridge part, took apart the controls , quite basic really , just a couple of stats and x2 LED indicator boards , new stat fitted very easily!!!

Fridge now working perfectly !!!!! WWOOOHOOOO and all for £3.50 , result !!

So my advice if your fridge or freezer is over temp or under temp , its worth spending £3.50 to try , rather than spend £100,s of a new fridge freezer !!!
