Fridge And Freezer Forum

Hi,

I've a problem with the above, in that the freezer compartment seems to be working fine, but the fridge part isn't cooling much/at all.
There doesn't appear to be any compressor-type noise, despite the thermostat being on the highest setting......
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's the thermostat and that it'll be cheap and easy to fit

It does sound like the thermostat but we can't be 100% obviously.

If you do proceed, please ensure the power is off

The thermostat is part number 2262146224 at £27.11 inc VAT and carriage, an email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk please if required

Will probably just buy the part and give it a try...is it relatively easy to fit ?
Will I need a crowbar and hammer ?
