Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods

My Zanussi DE6854 started to stick midcycle. It was serviced and, later, when it was left in operation while I was out of the house, it caught fire causing serious damage to my house. Are there any reports of this model catching fire and has the model been recalled?

The root cause of the problem will need to be identified, I'm sure Electrolux (Zanussi) will be willing to help.
www.serviceforce.co.uk should put you in touch with a local authorised centre.
Appliances catching fire is a very rare occurance to be honest so any feedback would be great please
Dave.
