Spare parts for appliances from UK Whitegoods
by steveshine » Thu May 04, 2006 3:43 pm
I have an Admiral (Maytag) side by side F/F Model GC20B7C3EV
It will no longer make ice cubes. The ejector blades revolve but the ice tray does not fill with water.
Could the water valve that feeds the ice tray be stuck/faulty. Where is it located? Can I obtain a spare?
Any ideas please.

Hi
You can check the valve by all means. Some of these models used to freeze up the feed pipe inside the freezer cavity (they just did) that feeds the ice cube tray.
If you can give it a 24hr defrost and see if that sorts it out 12hrs after restart.
Power off first

Does the water flow into the chilled water dispenser OK?
