Teka dishwasher needs new board

Postby dillons » Wed Aug 16, 2006 1:22 pm

Is £80 a reasonable quote for a replacement board for a TEKA DW6 59 FI dishwasher? The machine is 2 yrs old and the board has burnt out.
The service guy said opening the door mid cycle doesn't help the boards lifespan.
Is this a good enough machine to be worth spending this on for a new board or should I consider new integrated machine?

Tks,

Very reasonable quote indeed. That board, from Teka (IIRC) is about £116 excl VAT!
