Creda Plan Europa Solar Plus oven

Postby peter-h » Wed Aug 16, 2006 2:49 pm

HI The main fan oven keeps tripping the house fuse box after it has been switched on for 2 or 3 min I understand that this is the element that is around the fan. I have removed the element and have put a resistance meter on it.
If it is faulty what should the resistance be ?.
or if it is ok what should the resistance be ?.
The spec no is 48145000LB

Help needed
thanks Peter

A resistance reading isn't a good way of testing if it's taking the house trip out, it needs to be tested for earth leakage with a meggar ideally :)

It will almost certainly be the element though (model number required to identify the correct one).
