Replacement Inner Glass Panel of oven door

Postby Ben1982 » Sun Feb 08, 2004 10:25 am

Whilst Grill some Bacon earlier this morning, I left the oven door open. When I returned to the kitchen to check to see if the bacon was done, I slipped on the wet floor sliding into the open oven door which bent causing the inner glass panel, to jump out of its mounts and hit the stone floor and shatter.

I am unsure of the make and model, but this is the information I have from a silver sticker on the front

SOGH W(A0200)
GUNKOL 2800W/3050/W
Pro Nr F02004GB01

Can anyone tell me where and how much a replacement might be?

Ben, it looks like one of the Bosch group with that product number. I'll check it tomorrow for you when I'm in the office.

Are you sure of the model details. GUNKOL is the manufacturer in Turkey for the TEBA brand. I think the model you have is A02004GB01. Did you buy the oven from Currys or B&Q?

Please confirm these details and I am sure Dave Conway or someone else will be able to help.

I live in a student house, and the kitchen was fitted some time in the summer. So I am thinking its gonn abe the cheapest thing on the market, but I will try and find out where it came from.

The information I gave was exactly as it says on the various silver stickers at the bottom front of the oven. If it is any help I could measure the area in which the glass once occupied.

Thanks for the help

I presume that this is a built-in oven. If you pull the oven out of it's housing a few inches (You should have to remove 4 screws securing the oven to the housing. They are installed on the front left and right sides of the cabinet.)

Once you have pulled the oven forward you should see a rating label stuck to the top of the outer cabinet. This will have a model number and a serial number printed.

Please make sure you switch off the mains electricity supply to the oven before removing it from the housing.

Best of luck.

Yes, now I remember who Gunkol are  it is almost certainly the model Richard has suggested, but will need to be confirmed to ensure the correct parts are supplied.

Having removed the 4 screws and pulled the case forward, the only thing I found was a white sticker with 12 square boxes on it arranged in a 3 down 4 across pattern. With

1 2 3 4
5 6 7 (14) {14 was stamped in red marker}
S1 S2 S3 S4

But going back to the 2 silver stickers at the base of the door:

Sticker 1:

SOGH W (A0200) Gunkol
230-240V a.c. 2800/3050W

Sticker 2:

|||||||||||||||||||||||||| Barcode
F02004GB01 020301557

Pro.Nr. F02004GB01

And I'm affraid thats it, I checked on the sides and below but nothing else.

Thanks again for the help guys, I hope you have the part :?

Ben

P.s. Yes it is a built in unit

It's almost certainly the same as the Teba branded A02004GB01 but it may be worth measuring the area the glass slides in to, just to be sure.

I'm sure Richard won't mind asking his spares dept to check one in their warehouse.

Hi Guys

Sorry it took so long for me to reply.

The slott that I believe that the glass once occupied is approx 450mm wide x485mm high.

How do I go about ordering this piece from Richard, or whichever of you guys whats to sell it to me?

If Richard would be kind enough to check the glass size against you're measurements just to verify it is the correct part, any ISDAL agent can get this for you. I will gladly supply it, as it is glass another agent nearer you may be able to help, it would then save on the problems of posting it and breakages etc.

We'll await richards reply, and if you pop you're postcode here, someone may be able to sort it for you, if not I will.

Regards.

These dimensions are OK for the A02004GB01.

Could you let me know if you managed to find a spare part for your oven door. I have the same oven and am looking for a new handle for it. I can't find one anywhere.

Thanks
