Ariston A 1335 Margherita

Postby freelandm » Wed May 16, 2012 5:31 pm

Hi All

This machine didnt empty after a wash cycle and the control knob was turning around so i left it to investigate today.

Reset as per usual process and the pump drained the machine i thought sorted but it will not spin.

Now i have had the pump off and removed the usual coins, hair clips etc. the impeller is free.

when you switch on the machine to start a cycle there is a pause then the pump starts then after a short while the knob starts turning around, i have counted the indicator light flashes and every time i count 9.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Regards
Matt.

If I'm not mistaken that error indicates a circuit board error (EEPROM failure). I wonder if, while you were clearing the pump spilt water anywhere near the circuit board?

Hi Martin

Thanks for the prompt reply.

No water near the PCB are you sure re diagnosis, other than that i will pull the board out and give it a coat of looking at.

If it is the board as you say is that part available still?

Regards
Matt

Not certain at all but Ariston are synonymous with dodgy PCB's and the connections to and from them.:(
