Hi

Have a Bosch Classixx 1000 which have had about 4-5 years. End light has started flashing and the water has not drained from the drum. Looked this up in the user manual and it says to clean the drain pump. However, the drain pump is stuck solid - literally cannot turn it at all to the point where the plastic handle starts to crack.

So need to clean the drain pump but cannot remove it without breaking it...any ideas would be very welcome...

The filter will be jammed solid by all the foreign objects stuck in the inlet pipe......

Some Bosch machines you can access the pump from underneath, some have a solid base (Model number would help.......). Open base machine - undo the retaining screws and with the machine tipped back at good angle, wiggle the pump assembly downwards. Removing hoses and cables for access is then pretty straightforward. Solid base machine you'll have to remove the front panel completely for access.

Power off if you intend to do this yourself.

Thanks - worked a treat I think. Limescale and a rogue 2 pence piece were the culprits.....
