Extended inlet hose for AEG washer dryer

Postby alexcc » Thu Aug 30, 2007 1:41 pm

Hello

I have just received an AEG L1710VIT washer. Unfortunately, the inlet pipe that came with it is very small (1.2 m) .

I called their spare parts department and they said that they can only supply the same pipe and that no extensions are available.

Can someone please let me know if there is anyway to extend this pipe.

My concern in buying a generic replacement part from Comet is that this particular hose has an Aquastop fitted at the end. Would it be dangerous to use a standard hose?

Thank you

Regards,

Alex

You can buy fill hoses up to 2.5m in length. You can also buy a 3/4" BPI jointing piece for joining hoses together. Most of the DIY places have them instore these days.

Which bit of "Unplug it" is causing the problem?

Thanks guys

I will buy one tomorrow. I thought that these were only available for outlet hoses.
