Indesit Evolution 1600 WE16 UK Error Codes

Postby HarryMay » Mon Jul 18, 2005 10:16 am

My Indesit has stopped half way thorugh cycle with error code F10

I have turned it off and restarted with no problems.

A couple of days later it has done the same now with error code -H20

Does anyone have an explanation of error codes F10 and -H20.

There has also been some random water leakage and the machine appears to be over filling with water.

Many thanks for any help given.

They are related faults, F10 is a water level sensor problem and H20 is a "no fill error".

Pressure switch is the most likely fault so not an overly expensive repair should that be the case.

Take a look at Repairs@ if you'd like an engineer :D

Many thanks for your responce.

I have searched through the forum and found a simular fault.
The user "taylorclan90" said he had a split in the pressure pipe.

I opened up the top of my machine and only found one pipe which looking from the front of the machine ran from a sensor to the pump on the right hand side of the drum.

This pipe had foam rings protecting the pipe but these had moved and the pipe had been rubbing on the drum and created a flat spot and eventualy a small split.

Once the pipe split it gave an error warning of F10 (Pressure sensor warning)

You can clear this warning by turning off the machine and restarting but now the drum fills up over over 3/4 full and then gives a -H20 warning which is supposed to mean no water.

-H20 means "No H20" i.e the chemical symbol for water.

I have replaced this pipe and touch wood all is working fine again.
